Nissan has launched the new generation Micra, a car based on an entirely new platform, and intends to market the car as a concept of ‘Simplicity.” The official tag line is ‘simple to purchase, simple to own and simple to live with’. The all-new Micra is also claimed to be a simple car to live with, with three-year scheduled servicing reducing the ongoing costs of ownership.

The new versions product of Nissan has released of their  that have lower emissions, dubbed the 2011 Nissan Micra DIG-S.  The 2011 Nissan Micra DIG-S uses a 1.2-liter engine with 3-cylinder direct injection that uses supercharging to extend the ninety eight PS (72 kW) and torque of 142 Nm within the hope achieve the 4-cylinder and 1.5-liter capability. Nissan Micra DIG-S will be given its European debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show (March 3-13) with sales starting over the summer of 2011. No details on pricing yet.
