BMW X1 is first introduced to European customer in 2009. Even it has been on sale for more than three years in Europe and gain massive popularity on European market, BMW plans to sell the X1 in U.S. market. For the U.S. market introduction, BMW made few changes to the interior and exterior, including revised headlight and different trim materials. The biggest changes can be found under the hood of the U.S.-only xDrive35i model which boast powerful and familiar turbocharged 3.0 liter N55 l-6 BMW engine. BMW claims the X1 xDrive35i can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 5.3 second.

The 2013 BMW X1 interior layout doesn’t stray far from the modern BMW formula, meaning clear gauges, sensible ergonomics and solid build materials quality throughout also featuring a recessed central display, red illuminated gauge faces, and center console mounted iDrive control knob. You can get one unique feature on the X1, that is passenger-side removable cupholder, which is awkward to install or remove and cuts into the already narrow front passenger legroom.

The 2013 X1 comes standard with safety features such as front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, anti lock disc brakes with automatic brake drying, stability/traction control, active front-seat head restraints, and for the xDrive version its including hill descent control.
