Latest Mazda sedan variant, the All-New Mazda 6 being the most Mazda’s sedan variant that equipped with a wide range of cutting-edge technologies. Mazda’s own party even claimed the latest variant of the Mazda6 is the most efficient vehicle in its class.

“The All-New Mazda 6 has most improved efficiency compared to previous generation Mazda 6 and best in its class; sedan with 2500 cc engine,” explained Hiroshi Kajiyama, Chief Program Engineer of the ALL-New Mazda 6.

Kajiyama said, further savings in fuel consumption on this latest Mazda6 because various features embedded on the latest Mazda’s premium sedan.

“I-Stop System will save on fuel consumption by 5 percent, to System i-ELOOP also could save by 5 percent. So from the i-Stop system and i-ELOOP can save fuel by 10 percent, “explained Hiroshi Kajiyama.

“As for the body and the chassis can save 10 percent. So a total of features embedded on the All-New Mazda6 could save fuel consumption by 20 percent compared to its predecessors or competitors in class 2500 cc sedan, “close Kajiyama.

All New Mazda 6 is the second variant that uses the Full Skyactiv technology, after Full Skyactiv launched the Mazda CX-5 Variant.

The All-New Mazda6 has also been equipped with i-Stop system and i-ELOOP. A smart system developed by Mazda Corporation for fuel economy, it also still contains Mazda’s Skyactiv technology.

i-Stop or idle-stop can save fuel efficiency, working by turning off the engine when the brake pedal is pressed and the car stopped the traffic or dilampu on highway congestion and also automatically restarts the engine when the brake pedal is released.

I-Stop system always shut off the engine the piston position in such a way where ready for the next burning process restart so that more responsive and smoother for a smooth driving experience. I-Stop system also works to monitor the temperature of the engine, cabin temperature, and the driver’s input to the brake pedal, lever 3 k and the steering wheel.

I-Stop system will work by pressing the brake pedal strongly, and immediately the machine will die and if the brake pedal is lifted, the machine will be ready to restart again. I-Stop system will also save on fuel consumption by 5 percent, compared with the earlier machines or machines in class 2500 cc more.

In addition to the i-Stop System, the All-New Mazda6 is also equipped with a system i-ELOOP, a regenerative braking system developed by Mazda which can generate electricity when the driver releases the gas pedal, where high-capacity electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC) immediately save some energy and allows for extracted efficiently.

Energy produced by EDLC will be transmitted to the electrical equipment of the All-New Mazda6 like headlights, air conditioning control system, audio system, as well as the electrical system of the machine.

This five-passenger sedan will powered by 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine that produce 184 horsepower. The engine is mated by six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. There is an optional 2.2 liter turbodiesel  that generates 148 and 173 horsepower with 280 and 309 lb-ft of torque.

2014 KIA Soul Review and Specs

KIA has recently introduced a new compact hatchback KIA Soul 2014 at the 2013 New York Auto Show. For 2014, Soul will get a few changes including 0.8 inch increased in wheelbase to 101.2 inches. The same stretch for overall length now 163 inches.

While the 2.0 liter engine will gets direct injection but its disappointed because gets remains output at 164 horsepower at 6,200 rpm while torque slightly increased from 148 lb-ft to 151 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm.

Both engine mated with a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission depending on trim.

2014 Cadillac CTS Review and Specs

The new Cadillac CTS 2014 has been revealed at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The latest generation of Cadillac CTS will fill the gap between the BMW 3-Series and BMW 5-Series. However, for the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4, Cadillac still has other cars, like the Cadillac ATS.

The new 2014 CTS have a longer wheelbase than the previous generation. The 5 inches of added length and 1.2 inches of new found wheelbase are immediately apparent, as the 2014 CTS looks just plain larger and markedly more substantial. The back seat can accommodate three passengers and the distance of front seat and the back is wider to get more flexibility.

Cadillac announced the twin turbo V6 engine will be embedded in the latest variant of the Cadillac CTS 2014.

As reported by Carscoop, Tuesday (03/19/2013), twin turbocharged V6 engine is a conventional engine with a capacity of 3.6 liters. The engine mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

With this engine, the new CTS can produce the power of 420 horsepower with a maximum torque of 430 lb-ft. Cadillac CTS can sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.6 seconds, before reaching a maximum acceleration of 274 km / h.

These line up makes the V6 engine as the strongest engine ever that designed by General Motors. The engine also have a 17 mpg better on the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

“Latest Cadillac with twin turbo engine, has brought the high-performance technologies for All New Cadillac CTS 2014,” said David Leone, Executive Chief Engineer of General Motors.

“Giving power and sophistication, it also marks another major step forward in the expansion of the products of the Cadillac,” close Leone.

General Motors, as parent company of Cadillac, announced that the new small Cadillac will be built at the Lansing Grand River assembly plant. The U.S. company said it plans to invest USD190 million to realize the plan.

The 2014 CTS expect to go on sale in fall 2013. Pricing is not announced yet but we expect the base price for this luxury car is near $50,000, similar to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-series.

2014 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Review and Specs

The German Automaker, Porsche has recently introduced the latest generation of Porsche 911 GT3. However, Porsche once again state that there is a more powerful variant of 911 GT3 that will release in 2014.

As reported by autoevolution, GT Series production boss, Andreas Preuninger said that Porsche engineers are already working on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. This variant will be most powerful than its previous model.

“There is no chance for the manual, we will not offer many options to our GT variants,” he explained.

“If you have a manual and PDK version, you must have different settings such as suspension, aerodynamic, tires, and everything. We are a small team and can only concentrate in one car,” added Preuninger.

2014 911 GT3 RS Interior

“We have opened a wider field for the new GT3, so maybe we’ll give you more reasons to push toward the RS version of the more extreme side,” close Preuninger.

New 911 GT3 exterior will get a bigger wing than its previous model along with front end tweaks to its aerodynamics. The new design looks more extreme and designed to be a more livable daily driver. The exhaust system will featured by titanium exhaust system to save the car’s weight.

Lamborghini has been revealed a new hypercar with an amazing design. The car with radical appearance is named Lamborghini Veneno, in Spanish and Portuguese Veneno means poison.

The presence of this special car is to celebrate the 50th Lamborghini’s anniversary and has been shown at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show in March 2013. The Veneno is also compete with Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1 in this event.

Veneno, as the latest hypercar of Lamborghini is based from Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. This fabulous car adopt a carbon fiber chassis of Aventador LP700-4 and powered by a Lamborghini’s typical engine that have a large capacity of 6.5 liter V12 engine with naturally concept aspirated.

This hypercar able to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds with a maximum speed of 354 km/h.
